  14. I'm having trouble getting my USR Sportster 28.8 to keep connected. It 
  15. disconnects on a regular basis.  I've tried all the basic init strings 
  16. plus a few creative ones.  All to no avail.  Does anyone have one that 
  17. actually works?  Also, for what it's worth, the firm. is 9/94 on this 
  18. modem.

  20. Also, I'm told there's a init string that will report line noise or 
  21. quality.  Anyone know what it is?
